Flowers have always been important to Liz Ann and even as a child, Liz Ann found herself sketching roses ad nauseam. One of her favorite flowers is the purple lilac with its aromatic scent. They grew with abandon around her childhood home in Connecticut and Liz Ann would love to pick the glorious lilac blooms when in season and scatter them throughout the home. Liz Ann would find it just natural for her to design with flowers and through the years, family members would frequently ask Liz Ann to design a floral arrangement or bridal bouquet for them as they recognized her talent for design.

Liz Ann grew up in Waterbury, Connecticut, a member of a close Italian family. She then moved to Newington, Connecticut to pursue her degree in Clinical Dietetics while raising three children. Twenty years ago, Liz Ann moved to Florida when her husband obtained a position with the U.S.A.F delegation to NASA, working on the Space Shuttle.

Liz Ann decided that after 23 years as a Registered Dietitian, it was time to move on to something else. She retired early from her career to pursue her first love...working with flowers. She started her business in 2005 and it has been growing ever since with the introduction of her business on the web. She received formal training in the floral arts more than 20 years ago and keeps abreast in the field with the latest trends through books, magazines, seminars, hands on experimentation and networking. 

Liz Ann’s experience encompasses floral designs made with silk flowers, air-dried flowers, fresh flowers and now preserved flowers, the newest technology sweeping the floral industry.
